Why a secondary degree in nursing?

According to the U.S. Department of Labor, the U.S. health care system will require nearly 203,200 new and replacement nurses per year from 2021-2031. At Brenau University, we aim to help fill this need for skilled health care professionals by providing an academically rigorous, clinically sound education for people who are ready to change to a career in nursing.

Upon graduation, our nursing students are equipped for team-oriented problem solving and evidence-based patient care in today’s fast-paced, ever-changing health care landscape.

If you hold a bachelor’s degree in another field or have at least 60 college credits that can transfer, Brenau University can help you begin your accelerated nursing career journey. Our ABSN, Accelerated Transfer BSN and ELMSN programs are designed to prepare you to take the NCLEX-RN national licensure exam and become a registered nurse (RN).
